Before I start the question, some details:
Application: Adobe Acrobat 11
OS: Windows 10 Home
Not my computer, it belongs to N.
N was filling out an E-form, and called me over because the file itself closed (I suspect it crashed) and reopened with all the edits to the file gone.
As I sit here, I searched for possible ways to recover file backups, and I found a possible path or lead- Local Disk, (Y/N), AppData, Local...etc. All I found were a bunch of random file types, none of which can be opened by Acrobat or Reader anyway. The Cache folder is empty, save for an .LST file that's not relevant to this event. The two most pertinent file types are one 'SharedDataEvents' and an .LST file, both happening a minute away from each other (I suspect at the time of the crash).
Incidentally, the empty file is still open in front of me. It has (SECURED) after the file name and extension, I don't know whether it has anything to do with it crashing.
My question is; how can I open/activate/initiate the .LST and the 'SharedDataEvents' files to recover the information? Or is this just a dead-end and I should just relay the bad news to N?
