acrobat pro 9: error "no se pudo habilitar este documento para reader"

Hola, después de hacer cambios en un formulario, cuando intento volver a aplicar funciones ampliadas para que se pueda luego guardar el formulario con los datos, obtengo este error:

activar derechos de usuario en adobe reader: no se pudo habilitar este documento para reader.

You can enable this form with the latest version of Acrobat Pro DC or Acrobat 2020 Pro.

Alguien más tiene el mismo problema?, yo tengo un formulario en Designer 6 y con Acrobat Pro DC no me deja guardarlo como PDF ampliado de Reader Activar Más Herramientas (incluye rellenado y guardado de formularios)... justo ahí es cuando presenta el error y antes no tenía ningún problema.

I need to save my forms PDF with data in fields. This is no possible without extended features.

With Acrobat you can save the filled form.

Correct. This is no longer possible in older versions of Acrobat. You must use Acrobat DC (or 2020) to Reader-enable PDF files. See: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/reader-extended-pdfs-and-adobe-root-ca-expiry.html
