We have set the number format in a field to 2 decimal, with ' as seperator (Switzerland here)

However when typing a . is ignored and the , seems to be used as decimal seperator.

How do we set the . as character to type the decimal seperator?

That's bonkers. So they need to use a comma as the decimal separator, even though it's not a part of their Number pattern at all, and they can't use the period or apostrophe, which are?

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that. Please try the steps below:

1. Open the PDF form and go to tools > prepare form (to bring the PDF in edit mode)

2. Double click on the form field to open the text field properties > Go to Format Tab and select the seperator style as shown below and click OK.

And try to fill the PDF form field with numbers and use comma , as the decimal seperator and press enter. (The comma will change automatically into . )  as shwon below:

Regards

Amal
