For text that is highlighted, either:

1: what is the keyboard command to activate the "add note to text" tool to create a pop up, or

2: how do I create a keyboard command to activate "add note to text" tool to create a pop up?

On Mac only. Not Windows version.

Sadly, there is no keyboard command for that. You can find the entire keyboard shortcut list here: Keyboard shortcuts for Adobe Acrobat

OK. Thought as much and my searching confirmed the same. Don't see a lot of point in making a feature request since all previous requests for this functionality (both points 1 and 2 above) for the past 6-7 years have been ignored. Cheers anyway.

Keep asking! I've been asking for things for years, and slowly, some of the features I've been asking for a getting implemented. Don't give up!
