Acrobat Reader Installation wants me to delete Acrobat 9

New Here ,
Sep 12, 2024 Sep 12, 2024

I had to delete and re-intall Acrobat Reader. I also have Acrobat 9 Pro which I want to keep. I need both. Howver, the Acrobat reader has this cryptic message: "To proceed... it is required to unintall older versions of Adobe Acrobat (note it doesn't say older versions of Reader, which I have already unintalled). "  NOTE: I don't want to unintentionally delete Acrobat Pro 9.

Can someone tell me if proceeding will also delete my Acrobat Pro 9, and if so, how do I get around this and load reader? I need to keep both. 2024-09-12 1-36-48 PM.jpg

Hi @cliffansel

You may use this link to download the Reader offline installer: https://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/. Once you open the link, click on "More download options" and then follow the onscreen instructions. An installer will be downloaded on the machine. Then, try to execute the installation and let us know if that works or not. If you still receive the same warning message, please take a screenshot and share it with us.
