Acrobat Support for Microsoft Information Protection: header, footer, and watermark

I installed the MIP plug-in and found my latest version Acrobat DC and Reader DC unable to reflect the changes I made to these specific settings (header, footer, watermark) in MIP label. Am I doing it wrong or Acrobat DC and Reader DC currently do not fully support MIP?

Hi,

 

Install the latest update for Acrobat DC; if yours is updated the current version should be .20056.

 

Then install the latest version of the MIP plugin from here: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/mip-plugin-download.html

 

Last, after you make certain your Acrobat products and the MIP plugin are properly  updated to reflect their current versions,  go here: https://www.eshlomo.us/protect-acrobat-reader-microsoft-information-protection/ and follow the steps suggested.

    Thanks for your reply.

     

    Unfortunately, I followed whatever instruction I could find and still was not able to see header, footer and watermark configured with Microsoft Information Protection in Acrobat Pro DC/ Reader DC. 

     

    After installing the plug-in, I can confirm that Acrobat Reader DC shows "protected by label: xxxxx", which proves Acrobat supports MIP, but the problem is I cannot see header, footer and watermark. Have you personally tested it?

    I personally have not and I don't have a similar PDF file for me to reproduce the problem on my end and see what could be wrong.

     

    If you don't mind sharing an example of te file I can try  or an Adobe Representative to try and reproduce the problem.

    The first solution marked as correct answer in the link above is for a large document with many pages. 

     

    The last one solution offered at the very end of the thread is an easier approach using the preflight tool---> with Analyze & Fix. 

     

    I have to ask if this document that you are trying to work around  was a document that was created with InDesign,
