add note to replace text - what's the use?

good morning
I'm not sure about the correct way to use the feature "add note to replace text".
I mean why to use "add note to replace text" instead of "add note" ?

again:
why acrobat ask me to save the PDF document every time I use the "edit" function ?

maybe I'm not totally skilled on this workflow...
thx

If you want to indicate to the editor of the original file that text needs to be replaced, this tool is useful, as you can select the text you wish to replace, and then enter the new text in the comment. Otherwise you will have to write or copy the text you want to remove, which is extra work. But choose the tool that works for you, of course...
