Add text on top of a stamp

Hi there,

I add a stamp to my documents and then need to write a description on top of the stamp. But the text goes under the stamp, so is not visible. Super annoying.

So currently I need to add the stamp in this program, save it and then open the document in another program to add the text!

Please help me resolve this! thanks

Clare

You will need to flatten the page first, which will convert the stamp to static contents.

You can use a dynamic stamp.

Still doesn't work! I actually would like step by step instructions if that's ok?!

So I've gone to 'use print production' and 'flattener preview'. Really have no idea what I need to select in this window.

But my tex does not appear on the stamp.

Thanks in advance

Create a Custom Command (via Tools - Action Wizard - New Custom Command) and have it execute the following JavaScript code:

this.flattenPages(this.pageNum, this.pageNum);

Run it on your file to flatten the current page. If you want it to flatten the full file, change the code to:

this.flattenPages();

Note, however, that this process is NOT reversible, so make sure to save the file under a new name, just in case you want to edit the stamp later on, by any chance.

Add the text only after flattening.
