Address Bar is solid black when using "Save As"

When I use Save As, or have multiple PDF's open, this is what happens ... I copy the info behind the black bar; it's the file path/address.  I've tried everything I can think of -- turning of "New UI," unchecking Show quick actions on Text selections, etc.  It happens when I work remotely or locally, so it's not the monitor.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Would you mind to specify in a little more detail what do you mean when you work remotely or locally?

 

Did you mean to say that you use the same Windows computer to work remotely via Wi-Fi and a VPN and also at home or at an office in a hard-wired network environment?

 

Or,

 

Did you mean to say that this is happening when you sign in with your Adobe ID on different machines?

 

In any case, if you were referring to using the same computer remotely or locally, will the issue improve if you clear the Temp folder at  C:\Windows\Temp ?

 

And also clear the hidden AppData Local user folder at :  C:\Users\currentUserName\AppData\Local\Temp ?

 

Also, is this happening even if your version of Acrobat Pro DC is updated to its latest version? 

 

If else fails, what happenes if you manually perform a repair (not the same as uninsalling / reinstalling the Acrobat software)?

 

One more insight, and just for troubleshooting purposes, if you go to Edit => Preferences => Security (Enhanced),  what happens if you turn off "Protected Mode at Startup", set "Proected View" to Off and disable "Enhanced Security" ?? (just curious)

Did you mean to say that you use the same Windows computer to work remotely via Wi-Fi and a VPN and also at home or at an office in a hard-wired network environment?   Acrobat is locally installed .... what I meant was even when I'm connected to that computer remotely the screen anomoly still occurs.  I pointed that out to eliminate the possibility that it was one of the monitors.  I will try the other suggestions you offered; the only one I've done so far is repairing the application.

Sorry for the delayed response. What happens if you save a file, say from MS Word, do you still see this black bar on the "Save As" window? 

 

Try disabling the preference "Show online storage when saving files" and check if that helps. To get to that preference, launch Acrobat, hold Ctrl + K  > Preferences > General, and uncheck: "Show online storage when saving files", click Ok. Relaunch Acrobat and test it again. Let us know how it works. 

Lastly, I would suggest updating the graphics driver of your machine.  Let us know how it works, will be waiting for your response.
