Adobe Acrobat cannot be opened, installation failed

I just got back to work this morning and went to open Adobe Acrobat, only to be greeted with a dialog box saying "The application Adobe Acrobat cannot be opened." I can't drag a pdf to it, and I can't just click on it in the dock, either. I've unstalled it and have tried to reinstall it, but it just says Installation Failed every time. I'm running MacOS Monterey 12.6.3. Creative Cloud says Acrobat is up to date, along with all other installed apps. What is going on and how can I fix it? Acrobat is a must for this office.

I just tried it again with the same result. Installer gets to 82% and then fails. Clicking the Retry button does nothing, and that's the only solution I've been able to find. I downloaded the installer and tried to install it that way, and got this:

Here is the error log, though I'm not sure why there are only two errors here because I've tried it at least 10 times. I've been trying to fix it ALL DAY to no avail. Does anyone have a solution???

Hello @Holton Recorder

Thank you for reaching out to us. I hope you are having a good day.

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your Adobe Acrobat application. To resolve this issue, I would suggest using the Acrobat cleaner tool, which can be downloaded from the following link: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html

This tool is designed to remove any traces of the Acrobat application from your computer, ensuring the reinstallation process goes smoothly.

Once you have run the cleaner tool and rebooted your computer, you can then proceed with reinstalling the application using the direct download link provided here: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html

Let us know if you encounter any further issues, and need more help.

Regards

Amal
