Adobe Acrobat XI offline activation fails

Question

I have a printing press with Fiery software and licenses, which also includes Adobe Acrobat XI Pro and Enfocus PitStop Edit 12. I successfully activated the Fiery Impose and Compose licenses, as well as Enfocus PitStop. However, I am unable to activate the Acrobat software.

I also tried the offline activation method. I generated a request code, but when I enter it on the Adobe website, I receive the error message: “Serial number invalid.”

I do not wish to upgrade to a newer version of Acrobat. The print server is quite old, running Windows 7 Pro as the operating system.

How should I proceed?
