Adobe keeps trying to open a qbo file and I get an error message

I was downloading a qbo file from my bank that I need to upload to Quickbooks on line.   Instead of saving the file I inadvertently hit a button that said to "always open this type of file with Adobe".   Now when I try to download the qbo file all I get is an error message that says Adobe can't support this type of file.  It does not allow me to save the file.   How do I tell Adobe that it should not "always opoen this type of file with Adobe" so that I can save my qbo file??

    What's your operating system, Cindy? If you're on Windows, right-click one such file and select Open With - Choose Another App, and then select the QuickBooks app and tick the box to open all files with this application.

    Thank you and also the advice on not posting my email.   This was the first time I've used the Adobe Support Community and wasn't aware I shouldn't post my email address.  Thanks again - Cindy
