Question

Adobe PDF prompting/requiring signatures for any and all text fields. Not document specific.

I'm having an issue where my PDF text fields are prompting me to sign or request signatures whenever I try to enter any text in. This is not document specific and occurs on documents where there are no signature fields anywhere on the doc. I cannot enter any regular text in, it prohibits me from doing so. Has anyone else had this issue and, if so, any help here? I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, repairing via settings, changing to Legacy signature status, making new forms from scratch, not really sure what else to do here.

The issue has been resolved. Please reboot the machine and then relaunch Acrobat.

Then, wait for some time and try to fill out the forms again.

Hi Meenakshi, I unfortunately cannot upload the PDF in question as it contains confidential information pertaining to my line of work. I've tried multiple PDFs and it is an issue across all PDFs. I did create this form yesterday as a test and it still gives the issue, any of the text fields prompts a signature and as you can see there are no signature fields on the document.

I am currently on Acrobat Pro version 2024.002.20687 64 Bit. CPU OS is Windows 10 Pro 22H2. If you need more information please let me know.

This is a bug in the latest version of Acrobat and Reader, which renders all form fields practically unusable. We are all waiting for Adobe to fix it...

Having the exact same issue. Noticing if I go to Edit and make sure Pan is selected rather than the Select arrow that I'm able to fill the field but this is an annoying work-around for something that worked flawlessly previously. Would love to see a fix for this as it's making it so much harder to fill out the form.
