Adobe Pro - Fillable Form with Image Field

I have added an image field to my fillable form but it doesn't work when I send out the form. All text fields work but not image. Is there a way to make this work??? Thank you for your help!

Where was the file opened? In what application? You can only expect it to work if opened in Adobe software (ie. Acrobat or Acrobat Reader) and NOT on a mobile device.

I can't even get it work if I send it to myself on desktop ... and I have Adobe Pro on my desktop.

It should work on a desktop, if you use Acrobat or Reader. Are you sure you did that?

Can you share the file in question?

I have sent it to myself via email and tried to open on my desktop and tried to open on ipad - the text fields work but the photo field does not. Are there some other settings I'm missing to make this work??
