Question

Adobe XI displays single page document as a multiple page document.

Adobe XI started to save documents in multiple pages when copied from the internet. For example, I saved a document that should be a page and Acrobat created 5 pages for it. Each of the 5 pages displays a few lines of text. This started about 2 weeks ago. I applied updates and problem still persists. What is the resolution?

First, you must update to the latest version.
Acrobat XI latest version is 11.0.23

You can download updaters here:

What's the exact version number of the application? What's your OS version?

What browser are you using, and how are you creating the PDF files from it, exactly?

Thanks for getting back to me.
* Adobe Acrobat XI Pro, 11.0.20.17
* Windows 7 Pro, Version 6.1, Build 7601, Service Pack 1
* Using Firefox and creating the PDF by opening the article I want to
save and clicking on the downward facing arrow in the upper right corner of
the screen. That opens a box with options to Open With Adobe Acrobat or to
Save File. I choose the Open With option then press F3. That process worked
without a problem until about two weeks ago. I haven't knowingly updated or
changed anything.

Can you share the actual file with us?

You can attach it to the original message using the tiny paperclip icon at the bottom when you edit it, or upload it to a file-sharing website (like Dropbox, Google Drive, Adobe Cloud, etc.), generate a share link and then post it here.

PS. I've removed your private information from the previous reply. Do not reply by email if it has a signature with all of your contact info in it...
