Sorry the previous discussion "Very slow launch in Win 11 24H2" was already closed, but I still have a similar issue...
I have the Adobe CS6 Master Collection and since a view months Windows 11 is taking approximately 10 minutes to boot.
When I look in Window's task manager, it says:

Hai @S. S,
I rebooted my system several times now, the disabled Adobe start-up programs still are disabled and the PC starts a little faster.
There are still some services running, but I thing en- or disabling won't change the boot-speed (altough I don't expect to get new updates for my CS6 software).
So I think my problem is solved, Adobe is not slowing the startup/boot-speed of my Windows 11 PC. Something else is.
Thanks for your support!

Hi @C.Denninger,
Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble with our AGC setup and process.
Adobe Genuine Checker is an application that ensures you have a genuine version of the Adobe Apps.
That said, it is not required to run on the system at startup, but when you work with the Adobe Apps, they need internet access or to be verified for the license.
Have you tried disabling the processes by clicking the icon on the top toolbar?
Once done, restart the system and let us know if it works for you.
Regards,
Souvik.

I don't know what you mean by "clicking the icon on the top toolbar" what toolbar?
If you mean to disable both executables from running, then yes, I disabled both executables in the registry-key: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run".
But when I restart my system, they are both turned back on automatically. Making is useless to turn them off.
Maybe there is some kind of service starting these executables every time if they are not running over and over again? Or maybe they are turned on (in the RUN-key in the registry) by starting one of the CS6 applications like Adobe (Acrobat), Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign?

Hi @C.Denninger,
What I meant was, disabling them from the task manager, too, as in the screenshot, they show enabled.
Another possibility is to go to Start > Control Panel > Uninstall a Program > check for Adobe Genuine Services > Uninstall.
Note: This process should only be followed if you are using the cloud-based subscription apps. If not, and you are using the perpetual applications, this can cause an issue with the running of those apps.

Souvik.

Thanks for explaining @S. S!
Like I stated on June 8th, I did turn off both AGCInvokerUtility.exe and AdobeGCClient.exe using the registry not the task manager.
But the "Adobe GC Invoker Utility" (AGCInvokerUtility.exe) is turned back on in the Run-key in the registry probably by some Adobe program/service.
Since I'm using the Adobe CS6 Master Collection which is the latest version before the cloud-based apps.
So I don't think it is wise to remove the Adobe Genuine Services.
I always have a lot of chatting to do with Adobe support when I install CS6 on a new PC and have to move my CS6 license from the old to the new one. Which I cannot do, only Adobe support can.
By the way, my PC seems to start up faster (4 instead of 10+ minutes) since a week or so. So maybe Microsoft did fix something, and it was not an Adobe program. Since all the Adobe programs are now mentioned as "Not measured" (Dutch: "Niet gemeten"). I think they are not of influence anymore ;o)
So I restored the "Adobe Updater Startup Utility" (UpdaterStartupUtility.exe) in the registry Run-key. Then I switched off all Adobe programs (except the Acrobat ones) and will look if my system boots as expected.
Note: the "Adobe GC Invoker Utility" in the screenshot above was returned in task manager because I restored the registry Run-key, this is a 'pre boot' schreenshot.
I'll later let you know what the results are after rebooting my PC.
