All High Resolution Images converting to Low Res

Question

I've been using Acrobat for a long time and have never had all the images in a document convert to Low Res before. It's just a basic packaging file created from scratch in Illustrator, the canvas size is large (1045mm x 350mm), CMYK, the main image is 62meg, which I've reduced down so that when it's placed in the document it's 100% at 350dpi. I've noticed though that the Link Information says it's 10.76%. Could this be the issue? Either way, when I create the PDF ALL images are recreated as low res in the Press Quality PDF. Any ideas? Hopefully a quick fix!?

If anyone else has this issue - it was based around the Illustrator document seeing the placed image as 10% even through it was 100%. I ended up copying all elements into a new Illustrator document (saving as doesn't work) and then saw the correct link size.
