Amazon Direct Publishing issue with 1 letter

I have tried numerous ways to save a file in Adobe Pro to upload and publish on Amazon. The entire book looks great except the Capital 'Y's in the titles come out hollow. I can't figure out what to do to correct this. It's perfect in the preview. I'm on draft #8 after trying everything I could think of.

 

Please help!

Using the Adobe Pro program and saving it in PDF/X press ready.

 

It's only 1 letter. That's it. Capital Y. The file was compressed. Everything was done that could be done. What I ended up doing was find a font similar to CINZEL for the Y only and replaced the Y in all the chapter titles that had a capital Y. That worked. We're doing the final proof and it can go to publication. I don't know if we'll ever figure out the why, however I found a solution that works for now. Thanks for asking.
