can't add page numbers (footer) in PDF file using Adobe Pro

Hello,

I would like to seek anyone's help.

I can't add a footer (page numbers) to a 24-MB 131-page PDF file via Adobe Pro updated to the latest updates.

After clicking on Add Header/Footer, Adobe Pro is marked by MacOS as "Not Responding", as seen in the Activity Monitor. There's only a pinwheel and nothing happens until we forcibly closed Adobe Pro after around 3 minutes.

That PDF file was exported from a file that has elements from Word, Excel & PDF files.

I'm able to add a header/footer to a smaller-sized (<5 MB) PDF with no problem using Adobe Pro.

Info regarding this big file is shown below.

Mac's specs are seen below. There's no Mac updates related to Adobe Pro.

What is the exact version of Acrobat Pro? Use About Acrobat Pro from the Acrobat menu. Something like 2016.123.323 or 12.0.17, in full?
