Can’t disable New Experience

This doesn't work for me. Acrobat closes and does not reopen, and when I open it again, it's the same new (terrible) version. To add insult to injury, every time I open Acrobat, I get a little notification that if I don't like the new version, I can just disable it by clicking "Disable." Well, I can't actually.

This doesn't work for everybody. When I click on that, Adobe just shuts
down. When I reopen it, it's the same new version.
