Can't edit fillable PDF after saving

Can someone assist me please. I created a fillable form to be shared among multiple users at our campus for faculty evaluations. The form is meant to be opened and saved by multiple employees so they can add evaluation criteria and sign off on the form. Once the form is opened and then saved the editing capabilities disappear and I can't even open it as the creator. I've looked everywhere for assistance but I haven't found the information I need to correct the issue.

We are sorry for the inconvenience. As described the users are filling the form and signing them.

 

The PDF files once signed gets locked for further editing and become read-only.  We can not make any changes or edits in such files.  For more information, you may please take a look at  the help article https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/edit-signed-PDF.html

Thank you for your response. After reviewing a bunch of information I came to the same conclusion and have fixed the signature issues. Thanks so much for the shared information.
