Question

Can you import e-signatures created in Docusign, etc. into a document opened in Adobe?

Hello,

My name is Candace and I live in Shaker Heights, Ohio. This question is going to make me sound ignorant, but I'm running a small business where I'm the one doing the payroll. I create paystubs using a web-based paystub generator service, then they email me them either as a. doc or. pdf. I no longer want to sign the stubs in ink, so I decided to use an e-signature program similar to Docusign. The Docusign help desk was unable to tell me if I can import an e-sig into a document opened in Adobe. I'm currently in free trial mode with Acrobat, I think. I cannot pay for Adobe unless I can perform this action. Thanks for your guidance. If it's not possible to sign paystubs opened in Adobe, I may have to continue signing them the old-fashioned way. Thanks!

No, you can't copy a signature from one file to another. That would make it possible for anyone to duplicate the signature from a file they received to another one, without the consent (or knowledge) of the person who actually signed that original file and would be a huge security risk. You can sign PDF files directly in Acrobat, though.

You need to ask program questions in the forum for the program you are using
To ask in the forum for your program please start at https://community.adobe.com/
Moving from Using the Community (which is about the forums) to the Acrobat forum

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Sorry about that and I'll do that in the future. It's not so easy to get anything accomplished efficiently with Adobe, and it's too expensive.
