changing default email client to another desktop app other than outlook

How can I change the default email client to another desktop client which is not outlook?  I'd like to use the mail.exe client on my pc because outlook opens with various plugins which may gum up the works.

Sorry for the delay in response to your query and apologize for the inconvenience caused. As per the description above, you want to change the default email from Outlook to mail.exe in Adobe Acrobat, Is that correct?
