Changing Reading order Issue

New Here ,
Jan 04, 2024 Jan 04, 2024

Hello Adobe Community,

I'm encountering a persistent issue in Adobe Acrobat while setting up a document for accessibility. I hope to find some guidance or solutions from the experienced members here.

Issue Description:

  • Software Used: Acrobat
  • Steps Taken:
    1. I start by automatically tagging the document for accessibility.
    2. When I attempt to modify the reading order of the document, the objects (images, text boxes, etc.) drop to the background.
  • Attempted Solutions: I've tried to bring these objects back to the foreground, but unfortunately, this doesn't seem to work.
I thought it may be because the text was above a tinted layer

Questions:

  1. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue with the reading order in accessibility settings?
  2. Are there specific steps or settings I should follow to avoid objects dropping to the background?
  3. Is there a workaround or a fix that I might have missed?

Any insights, suggestions, or step-by-step guidance would be greatly appreciated. I am looking forward to resolving this issue and would be grateful for your expert advice.

Thank you in advance for your help!
