Chrome/Edge Extension not respecting Tab Order in Forms

I have an Adobe PDF form where I have several checkbox groups of Yes/No options. I have manually specified the tab order for each group.

When the form is opened via the Adobe PDF viewer extension in either Chrome or Edge, the tab order I have specified is not respected and the tabbed fields are all over the place - instead of switching between Yes and No for each group, it is cycling through all Yes options, then other fields, then some No options, then some more fields, then the rest of the No options.

The tab order is absolutely fine in Firefox.

Browsers are very poor PDF viewers, and that is doubly true for PDF forms.  Don't expect a browser to do anything correctly. Just be happy it doesn't destroy the PDF.  If you want the users to be able to actually use your PDF form, them ask them to download it and open it in the Free Acrobat Reader.

Thanks Thom,

I absolutely agree with you on that! Unfortunately the form is to be used by individuals while in a vehicle (via Toughbook), so having them follow those steps isn't a viable option.

It's fully usable as-is, the only issue is that some have mentioned the tab order is slightly off.
