The color of my Highlight Text edit tool mysteriously disappeared. How do I get it back? Or how do I change the highlight color of the Highlight Text edit tool?

Correct answer Karl Heinz Kremer

Mark a section of text witth the highlight took, then place your mouse cursor over the just highlighted text and right-click. From the menu, select "Properties...". Now you can select the new color. Make sure to select the "Make Properties Default" at the bottom of the properties window. This way, they should "stick".

Thank you - I'm not sure why Adobe has made this so unintuitive from what it used to be in the past.  This new interface is awful.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well.

Adobe Acrobat now has a simplified interface to help you quickly discover tools and complete your PDF tasks efficiently. Compared to your current interface, the new version is more intuitive and fluid and provides consistent experiences across all devices -- desktop, mobile, and tablet.
