Comments disappear when shared cloud PDF document is downloaded

Hi!

I have a couple of PDFs that are uploaded to Adobe Acrobat document cloud and then shared for commenting.

After commenting, when I try to download the PDF, the downloaded file does not contain the comments.

This has happened with two separate PDFs. Also one of them has the sharing still open and the other doesn't. I'm using the web version of Acrobat.

Previously the comments have carried to the downloaded PDF with no problems. What might be the issue? 🤔 🤔

Please let us know if the issue is currently occurring with only two files. Could you please share the screen recording showing the issue occurring on your end? Did you check what happens if you open the files in cloud directly from Acrobat desktop application.

Share the Acrobat and OS version number in use.

Please let us know if the issue is currently occurring with only two files. Could you please share the screen recording showing the issue occurring on your end? Did you check what happens if you open the files in cloud directly from Acrobat desktop application.

Hello,

 

I am experiencing the same issue. When I download a PDF I shared, only my original comments (which I made before sharing the document) appear. No filters are on. I'm attaching a video. Please help! I'm an experienced Adobe Acrobat user, and we have been sharing documents this way since 2020 with no major issues until a couple of months ago, and since then, there is an issue with every single PDF I share. I'm on Mac Ventura 13.7.6 and Acrobat 25.1. I do not see any upgrades for Acrobat. And I have been told by our IT person NOT to upgrade my iOS to Sequoia (he hasn't said why, but it's a company-wide policy). Video attached. Thank you.

I am having this issue as well. I would love to know if there is a way to download a PDF with the comments from the Online app NOT the Desktop App. Only having the ability to download comments from the desktop app is not efficient requiring an extra step in the process.
