common name shown in digital signature is incorrect

New Here ,
Jul 19, 2018 Jul 19, 2018

My digital signature has suddenly stopped displaying my name in the <common name> area and is instead showing my computer name. Checked Preferences and my Identity settings are still the same as before, complete with correct name. Tried creating a new signature but same thing occurs.

Hi Biomedart_JWK,

As per the issue description mentioned above, common name is showing computer's name instead of yours under digital signature? Is that right?

Could you confirm the common name under appearance using the steps given below:

Launch Acrobat > Edit > Preferences > signatures > creation & appearance > More

Under appearance > click edit > and check common name under preview.

Also,  let us know dot version of Acrobat and the operating system installed on the machine? You may refer to the steps given in this link on how to check the version: Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

Let us know if you need any help.
