Converting .pdf to .tif suffix

When convert .pdf files to a tiff format.

How can I get the default suffix name to contain .tif instead of .tiff after the file name.

We have a legacy system which we input the .tif file into and does not accept the 4 character suffix .tiff.

Our clerks have to manually check the suffix name to make sure it has .tif.  If they forget and has .tiff it causes problems in the legacy system.

You can use a very simple bat file to rename all .tiff files in a specific folder (and possibly all sub-folders) as .tif files.
