Desktop pdf icons changed

Just installed the acrobat reader.  I guess I was originally using a windows pdf reader.  The desktop icons have now been changed to a square box that is primarily white with it outlined in red and and the adobe sign in the middle.  Under the Adobe sign is the "pdf" notation.

Is this the normal viewing when on the desktop?  The icons before I believe were like folders and now they are all primarily white.  Very glaring change and not used to it.  Is this the way the icons are supposed to appear now???

Hi @Rick28017333t94h

If you have installed Acrobat Reader Just now, the application icon will appear like this: Red outlined and white symbol.

And the PDF documents in Windows file explorer will look like this: White icon with red outlined on it.

If it's this way, then nothing to worry about.

If not, then please share the screenshot of what you see at your end. That would be easier to understand to confirm.

Thanks,

Akanchha
