Difference between Adobe Acrobat 2017 Standard vs Pro ?

Doesn't address which version supports optical character recognition (OCR). I've spent nearly an ENTIRE workday trying to figure this out. During which I've determined that my environment could have 1 of 15 ****ING versions of acrobat installed FIFTEEN DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF THE SAME SOFTWARE.

What the actual ****. How the heck did there versioning system devolve to such a complicated pile of horse ****.

I work in an industry where we require approval to change software versions so, yes, although XI and X are EOL, I've had to maintain those major versions until I can get approval to upgrade to a newer version.
