Disable pop-up window when I select the fountain pen

Help! I want to disable a pop-up window when I select the fountain pen. I can click anywhere else in the document and the pop-up doesn't appear but everytime I select the found pen this pop-up appears at the bottom right hand corner.

Any assistance is appreciated. Thank you!

Probably because this tool is a part of the Fill & Sign set of tools, but the file already contains signature fields that the author added to it, so it's directing you to use those. If you want to insert a hand-written note you can use the Pencil commenting tool, and it shouldn't show you that message.

Look on the security tab in the document properties dialog to see what kind of restrictions were put on this PDF.

Very interesting. I just tried it and am having the same issue. I don't remember seeing this popup before. But it's possible I just ignored it. I tried several other tools such as redactions, commenting, and adding page text. None of them produced a warning. I looked through the preferences and didn't find a setting for it.

BTW: this is the wet signature tool. Not a real signature, but an image. It's pretty much the same as adding content with the "Edit PDF" tools.
