drop down arrow gone in different Readers

Newbie signing in....

First, I know that it is not possible to hide the drop down arrow in a pdf form.

At least not while the form is still fillable.

I managed to create a fillable form with a 'finalize' button which work great.

The drop down arrows are not visible in Acrobat Pro and Acrobat Reader, still good so far.

The only problem is that the arrows are visible in Foxit Reader and possible in other readers.

Is there a solution for 'finalizing' a form with drop down arrows gone for all readers?

I made the form in Acrobat Pro DC.

The form needs to be filled in other Readers.

Thank you.
