Editable Form: how to make image boxes visible on screen but not print

Hello

I am preparing a series of posters in Adobe Acrobat with editable image boxes for the end user to upload their own logos then print the posters themselves.

I want the image field to be visible on screen but for the border not to print. Is there a way to do this?

I have tried every conceivable combination within the image field properties including making the image border transparent (so that it won't print) but then it also doesn't show on screen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Vicky

Answer is no.

A field can be printable or not printable but it's all or nothing.

The only way to do this is to superimpose two fields.

Hi @Vicky285655557tf0 ,

Use the "Prepare Form" tool.

Right-click on the image field => select "Properties" from the context menu => the field properties dialog window will open up.

See the "General" tab  at the bottom there is a dropdown menu to select  the object property that you want: "Visible but doesn't print".

This can also be done via JavaScript scripting:
