Every time I print multiple pages with HP M402n the pages (every other) are printed with garbled text and images.
Almost like its printing backwards.

I went to Finishing tab in printer properties. I disabled the print on both sides.

Hi lotus-paul,

Thank you for reaching out.

Please provide more information about your issue. Did the issue occur with a particular document or any PDF you print?

Try the troubleshooting steps suggested in the following help document: https://adobe.ly/3Yocm94

Ensure that the printer drivers are updated.

If the issue still occurs, check if you can print using another application. Share the machine's Acrobat and OS version numbers.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Bless your heart!!! I've been experiencing this same issue, not everytime, but a lot. So far, so good. Thanks for the tip. I've tried several times to look for a solution. Stumbled across your solution this moring.

Is there a way to disable the setting "Print on both sides of paper" ? That seems to be why every other page is printing backwards and inverted.

I uncheck it but the next time I go into the print job it has it checked.

Hi Patrick,

Please answer a few questions to put us in the right mood:

What is your OS and version? What is your Acrobat version?

Please post also pictures of the printed pages.

Does this happen only with specific PDF files or also with standard PDF files (eg. PDF files that you grappled from the Adobe site and that are known to be good)?

As a workaround you could try to use "print as image" (Advanced tab of the print dialogue). Does that work?

Windows 7

Acrobat Reader DC, just ran update still happens

Any multipage pdf will do it.

I printed excel and that does multipages fine.
I printed Word and that seems ok too. Just PDF's are affected.

I installed  a HP M402n printer yesterday when this started

I have contacted them. They asked me to reach out to you.
