Fillable field not allowing me to type

As the picture indicates, this is a fillable form I have downloaded to fill out, and the text tool is greyed out, so I am unable to type in any fillable field.  Just to test that out I have opened multiple forms that I was previously able to just start typing in without issue, and I can no longer do that.  Does anyone know how to fix this? I have uninstalled the app and re-installed, but it is still doing this which leads me to believe it was apart of a recent update for Adobe Acrobat Pro

Thank you for your patience so far.

 

The issue has been resolved. Please reboot the machine and then relaunch Acrobat.

Then, wait for some time and try to fill out the forms again.
