Font Color Changes when Converting Word to PDF

I'm running Windows 11 home and continuous reader 2023.006.20380 64 bit.

When I try to save my word doc as a PDF via File, Save As the PDF doesn't open automatically anymore - why??

When I do open the PDF the font color changes from white to black on some of the letters. This just started today out of the blue. I have the same problem on a laptop running windows 10.

I've uninstalled adobe and reinstalled. Rebooted laptop. Checked COM addin and adobe is not there. Please help. Thank you!

Hi

Please reach out to Microsoft for the font color issue as File > Save as > PDF is a Microsoft functionality. In case you are using Acrobat Pro, you can convert to PDF using the Acrobat addin.

Thanks

I have the same problem, and the Acrobat addin didn't fix the issue.

Hi @Richard27241325z5vl,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble with creating PDFs.

If you experience the issue with the Acrobat Plug-in, would you mind sharing a few pieces of information for further investigation:

1. The app version of Acrobat you are using (go to Menu > Help > About Acrobat);

2. The original Word document, and the PDF file that you created.

More info on how to avoid color shift when creating PDFs can be found here: https://adobe.ly/4j6jwGE.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,
Souvik.

I have the same problem with MS Publisher. Very annoying.  The colors of the text automatically go to black. I tried using RGB, CMYK, and Pantone. Didn't make a difference.
