getting AcroLicApp with trying to open Acrobat on new Mac

Moved Arcobat DC/Creative Cloud acct to new Mac. Signed out of same from old Mac. Creative Cloud account shows as being active on new Mac (inactive on old one), with Acrobat installed on new, showing green light on new. But, when I try to open Acrobat, AcroLicApp opens instead, indicating I have too many computers on the account.  I don't. Help please.
