Question

higlight colors

I managed to find the different highlight color options (tool/comment) but now I have a column on the right with the indication of all the parts I highlighted. Is there a chance to have the color option to change them while I highlight the text without having that column on the right? (when I select close to close the column, also the colors choice of the highlight disappear). Thanks!

Add the color picker circle to your Quick Tools.

  1. Right click on the toolbar.
  2. Choose Cusotmize Quick Tools
  3. Scroll down to: Comment > Change Color.
  4. Click the up arrow on the right.

Now your color picker will be available even when the comment sidebar is closed. This is much faster than going to the Properties dialog box every time.

Alternatively, you can also bring up the Properties toolbar.

Hi Valeria

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. Would you mind sharing the workflow/steps you are doing to change the highlight color?

As described, you get the column on the right with all the text that you have highlighted, you may try to minimize the right hand pane by clicking on the small arrow. Also to change the highlight color, right click on the text that you have highlighted and go to Properties to change the color.
