How can I make radio buttons all select or some select in a group if needed

Hello!

I am an inexperienced Adobe user (Adobe Acrobat X Standard) and I am working on a PDF form that reports on patient training outcomes.  I discovered that check boxes do not fax and transmit well via our fax server....due to DPI distortion. It was suggested that I change all boxes to radio buttons. However, I have not been able to figure out how to make it possible to select all or some buttons in the group if needed.  PLEASE any help is greatly appreciated!! The list of items that the user would select looks something like this:

Thank you in advance fro your assistance!

Kathy

Better if you can find a solution that doesn't look like a radio button (are there more shapes)? If you put things that look like radio buttons that doesn't work like them, it will cause confusion, annoyance and inefficiency. Conventions are important (like the convention of putting a box where you fill in).

Is there no work around for something like this?

No. That's how radio-buttons work. However, I don't see how converting the

fields from check-boxes to radio-buttons will solve anything.

What makes the latter more "faxable" than the former?

It has to do with the DPI in which the form was created......and the fact that our fax server converts the 600 DPI form to 200 DPI in the fax transmission-because of this,  the check boxes do not transmit with the selected boxes viewable.     I tested our form with using radio buttons and for some reason it transmits better and is viewable. So my dilemma is finding what is the best solution for this. Any and all suggestions are welcome. Thank you!

Form fields have no DPI value. They are vectors.

And you can make a check-box appear like a radio-button, if you wish...

The rule of radio buttons is that only one can be set.
