how can i print on pre-printed form?

I am trying to figure out how to print a form that is pre-printed. I don't want to lose the color or line that is already on the paper.

On my Adobe Acrobat Reader under "Comments & Forms", there is no selection for Form field only. I have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC

Also how can I make the scanned in form to be filled only with text on a regular basis.

This feature is only available in Acrobat, not in the free Reader.

I don't understand your second question.

In Acrobat there's an option to print only the form fields. You use it by selecting "Form fields only" under Comments & Forms in the Print dialog, like this:
