How do I convert playable multimedia .pdf files to .mp4?

I have recorded hundreds of lecture files that are multimedia .pdf files (created by an old version of a Livescribe Echo smartpen).  I can play them; no issue there.  I wish to be able to convert the files to an .mp4 format; that would have fewer features but could be viewed on devices without flash, such as mobile devices.  I can do that now through the use of a screen capture program such as Camtasia; I play the .pdf file and record what's playing in Camtasia.  But it ought to be easier than that.  I would like to be able to dump a file in a converter and have an .mp4 file come out, without having to take the time to babysit the screen capture program to start and stop it at the correct time and sit through it in real time.  Any ideas?  It seems like an Adobe product ought to be able to make that conversion fairly easily.  Since Reader can play it; why can't something process the playback into an .mp4?

I’ve never heard if such a converter. Adobe don’t make one, and as you’ve probably discovered, few companies outside Adobe ever support multimedia PDF. The recommended migration if there was one would probably be to HTML5, just as for PDF forms.
