How do I opt out of sharing my usage information with Adobe Acrobat?

During install it defaulted and was not an option to decline. However, it said, "you can opt out after the install by going to..."

Correct answer Lucy5CED

You didn't include the link. Why?

Go to https://account.adobe.com/

> 'Account and security' (tab at top)

> 'Privacy and personal data'

There should be some radio buttons that you can select 'on/off' to disable sharing your info. Posting this here as it took me a while to find too!

That pathway worked, thanks! But is it ultimately meaningless because Adobe has already captured your data [in > faster than nano and back to your pre-conception] before your next keyboard stroke? I am genuinely curious about the reach, depth, and speed of data cannibalism.

Hi kglad,

When I activated some desktop software, I also saw this notification.

It seems that some time between September 2018 and now, the path you hinted towards has fallen from being a dark pattern to being literally impossible to follow through on.

4 clicks into the process, the link to account.adobe.com/privacy redirects me back to plain old account.adobe.com.

If there's anywhere I should go, please let me know.

Best,

CJ H

Hey Lucy5CED, I've never written on any of these sorts of things before..

THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU..

It Was A Great Help That Link Helped Perfect...

Trying this in May of 2022 - the steps above lead to a page that simply says there are no connected third party apps. Has anyone else had this issue? What is the new way to opt out?
