How to convert batch of .pdf files to multi-page tiffs

I'm looking for a solution to batch convert pdf files to tiffs. Adobe converts only to 1-page tiffs. My goal is to have multi-page tiffs. Does anyone run into similar issue and has suggestions? Thank you.

Acrobat does not provide any native capability of conversion of PDF files to multiple page TIFF files. The reason for this is quite simple. Multiple page TIFF files are not supported by the majority of applications that produce and/or consume TIFF files. Most multiple page TIFF files have been associated with FAX machines from the previous century.

Perhaps you can advise as to what application you have for such multiple page TIFF files!?!?

Hi Dov, thanks for your input! There are a lot of application out there that import multi-page tiff. in my case it's much easier and makes sense to work with multi rather than single page tiffs. Thanks again!

It is not possible within Acrobat itself. However, I've developed a (paid-for) stand-alone tool that can convert a PDF to a multi-page TIFF file. If you're interested in it you can contact me privately (try6767 at gmail.com) to discuss it further.
