Question

How to get precise sizing for video and get it to play automatically?

Two questions about embedding video in PDF files.

1. How do we size exactly the video? Insert video just produces some random sizing. We cannot resize the video thus inserted.

2. When setting the video to play automatically when the slide appears into view.. this doesn't work on many computers. It says for them it needs to install flash! What's the point?

1. In the old days you just had to click (not click and drag) on the page to place the video at its original size. I don't know if it still works.

2. They must use a recent Acrobat DC version

What version of Adobe Acrobat does you use? What is your OS?

I mean unless the inserted video size is exactly the dimensions of the video, there are black bars all around the original dimension. There's no way to specify clearly what the video dimensions should. We just need to drag it around. What stupid UX is this?
