How to make Check out/in pdf in SharePoint 2016 working also with Microsoft Edge

Hi,

on our SharePoint 2016 we have enabled the integration to edit - check out/in pdf-documents from Acrobat DC (2021.011.20039). This works fine with Internet Explorer, but not with Microsoft Edge. SharePoint configuration was made with previous version of this artice Sharepoint Integration — Deployment Planning and Configuration (adobe.com)

As Internet Explorer lifecycle is ending, there is a need to start using Edge only.

Could you provive help how to make the SharePoint 2016 PDF integration work with Edge also?
