Go to the field's Properties, and under the Options tab tick the box that says "Allow user to enter custom text".

Hi,

Thank you for your answer, but is there any way to restrict the input of the user with elements from the list only?

I don't understand... If you only want the user to be able to enter items from the list, they why allow them to enter free text into the field in the first place?

Well,

the thing is that my dropdown list has about 91 elements in it, and it can take a while to find a specific item by scrolling.

I'd like my user to be able to type something from the list.

Right now, I just can't type anything in it.

Thanks by the way.
