how to make yes/no options required fields when using fill & sign

When sending a document that has questions to be answered yes or no, is there a way to make them a required field?  Right now I see that I can check the yes box and make it a required field and the no box and make it a required field but I don't see an option to make it required to answer either yes or no.  Obviously yes & no can't both be filled in, and in fact the original document only allows it to be either/or.  But I have a bunch of clients that miss the questions and so I want to make it required for answers before they can send back to me.
