Question

How to run multiple preflight controls at once?

Hi there,

Before shipping PDF for the print I run multiple preflight controls. Some my own, some default:  (transparency, ink coverage, overprint, etc.) The only pain is, that I run each control at once, wait till it is finished, search another one, and run it again. Then search for the next, next and next.

Is there any way to run multiple controls by one click?

Thank you.

Preflight "Custom Profiles" are made for you.

You can use them in an Action, a Custom Command or in a Droplet.

Hey @JR Boulay ,

You just nailed it. To be honest, I already spent good 20 minutes trying to compile my chain of control, but still didn't got anywhere… I will definitely try your fabulous roadmap!

Use the Action Wizard or a Custom Command to create an action that executes multiple Preflight profiles on the file, and then save it (assuming all of them were successful, of course).
