Question

How to size an image in pdf format?

I saw this done at a FedEx shop when they were printing a large image for me but I don't remember how it was done?

They selected a 'square' portion of the image, set the measurement for that square as 1 inch, and resized the whole image in proportion to that square.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

In the Print Production toolset, there is a Set Page Boxes command.  I wonder if that is what they used.  If you can describe more about what you needed/they did, it might be helpful.  Was the page resized, or just an image on the page?

My best,

Dave

Hi Dave,

I was using their large format BW printer to print some D&D maps. The maps have a grid overlay I wanted to set the a single grid size to 1 square in., resizing the whole image in proportion. Hope that makes sense.

I converted the image to pdf format, it was the only thing in the file.

Thanks

John -

Is the PDF being resized, or is it being printed at a specific size?

My best,

Dave
